Now for the best part of the whole week..................................

My friend Ria and her sister-in-law Steph were in charge of this wonderful mini-conference called {em-pou-er}. It was the most life changing seminar/conference I have ever been to!
The Speaker, Grace Johnson is a wonderful woman letting God speak through her straight into the hearts of women like you and me!

The day was based on Jeremiah 18:2-4

1The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

2Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.

3Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.

4And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
As Grace sat on stage turning a hard, ugly lump of clay into a Beautiful and much loved piece of art, she spoke wonderful words of the Lord into weary and hopeless hearts.

Here are a few of the wonderful things I heard on Saturday that I will treasure forever.
1. the clay cannot form it's self into a beautiful piece of art. only under the potters loving hands is the clay made into something beautiful.
2. The lips of the vessel are never formed before the heart is done. (the heart of the vessel is the inside that carries the water).
3. Each piece of art is different and MUCH LOVED by the potter. (I am much loved by my master Potter)
4. The Potters hands are used to lovingly shape and mold the vessel, However he allows the tools to be used also to help bring out an even deeper beauty and prefect ion. (The tools are the things in life that hurt me or are unpleasant)
5. To finish the piece and turn it into a vessel that the master can use it has to go through the fire twice, chemicals, and spend a time sitting on the shelf curing, BUT THE POTTER NEVER ONCE FORGETS ABOUT HIS CREATION.
There is much, much more, but I have neither the room nor the time to write it all! You will have to find a Grace Johnson seminar yourself and let the words of the Lord soothe your weary sole!! Great news!!!! she is coming to Gospel Lighthouse Church in Floyd IA!!! we would love to have you come! Detail are still being worked out but I will be updating you!!
